| Latest gadgets: Epson EH-TW3200 full HD home theatre projector Posted: 24 Mar 2011 03:00 AM PDT Epson has released another home theatre projector for the use of people in their homes. The new projector the “EH-TW3200″ has just gone into the market. According to Epson, this home theatre projector provides stunning picture quality in full HD. It has 1,800 ANSI lumens brightness, 25,000:1 contrast ratio and up to 4,000 hours of lamp life before you need to replace the lamp. On the back of the projector it offers multiple connectivities, HDMI X2, S-Video input, Component a D-Sub. Projectors are quite expensive but they do provide a larger screen then TV’s for the price that you pay and they are good for a theatre style movie room in your house. Most people choose to buy a TV over a projector but now that projectors are getting HD and probably soon to be 3D, we can look forward to seeing more people purchasing projectors to watch movies and TV. The Epson EH-TW3200 projector retails for about $1656 USD. [via TechFresh] Check it out, we're giving away a brand new iPod Nano 16GB! Latest gadgets: Epson EH-TW3200 full HD home theatre projector |
| Toshiba launches 14-inch LCD USB monitor Posted: 24 Mar 2011 01:00 AM PDT Toshiba has launched a new portable monitor only powered by an USB port. It has a 14-inch LCD screen boasts a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. Its portability and low supply voltage does not allow excellent technical performance. The PA3923U-1LC3 has a response time of just 16 milliseconds and disappointingly quite a weak contrast of 400:1 ratio.

| Posted: 23 Mar 2011 03:46 PM PDT What would you do if you woke up one day, and you couldn't log into your Gmail account and check your email? Well, it's seems that Chinese are experiencing that problem for the last few days. Google have found no technical issues on their side, it appears that China is the problem in this case. According to Google, users haven't experienced any type of common technical problems such as inability to login, errors when sending mail or malfunction of instant messaging. Therefore, Google blames the problem is coming directly from China. It appears that the government isn't pleased that their people are using Google's services, especially after Google refused to censor search results for banned websites. So what will Google do about this issue? So far, we don't have any information regarding the solution of this problem, but we're hoping to see it soon. | Posted: 23 Mar 2011 03:39 PM PDT Sony has put a lot of effort into keeping its PlayStation 3 free from hackers and jailbreak tools, but no matter how hard they have tried, hackers always find a solution to hack the latest firmware. Although the latest firmware is relatively new, hackers have found a way to jailbreak it. As you know, in case of jailbraking, hackers and jailbreakers would face bans, arrests, or even the legal charges, but that doesn't stop people from jailbraking the PS3. Hacker known as ThatBoringHacker has recently posted a video on YouTube that shows him running the homebrew software on 3.6 firmware. It seems that ThatBoringHacker has managed to hack the firmware on accident and now he can run homebrew software on his PS3. However, ThatBoringHacker hasn’t shared his knowledge or tools with the world. PS3 firmware 3.6 is now jailbroken, but we have to ask ourselves, how does a person jailbreak a PS3 firmware on accident, and what will be Sony’s response? The laptop has been styled with a business attitude which is very sleek, a dark black color and silver chrome on the sides. It’s available in three colors – Aberdeen Silver, Lucerne Red and Brisbane Bronze. The laptop now has new DDR3 memory, a decent graphics card, bluetooth 3.0 and USB 3.0. Dell has given some reasonable prices for this line of business laptops. The 13-inch laptop starts at $599, 14- and 15-inch at $499 and the 17 inch at $549 dollars.
