Dispensing for the need to tether your Kindle via USB to be able to load the audio books on to your device. Posted: 25 Mar 2011 03:15 AM PDT A new iPad dongle has been released designed to be the equivalent of the swiss army knife dongle for the iPad 2 and first generation iPad. Incorporating a SD card slot, a MicroSD card slot, an HDMI port, a USB port, and a mini USB port all in one. Unfortunately you can only use one port at a time on the dongle and if your are already ready thinking about using an external hard drive connected via USB as extra storage device for media, the dongle doesn’t allow this either. However you can connect a USB keyboard to the dongle is you so wish, and the dongle is also equipped with an AV out socket on the left side.
