iSkin earTones Earphones Work with Lots of Devices

Gameloft Shows Off Xperia Play Games (Video)

We have already seem some previews of games that will be available with Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Play and now Gameloft has put together a video showing the game play on some of its titles that will be available on the Xperia Play.

The video below shows a total of 10 games that will be available for the Xperia Play, which will include Spider Man: Total Mayhem, Assassins Creed; Altairs Chronicles, Real Football 2011, Star Battalion, Splinter Cell Conviction, and many more.

Audible Audiobooks Now Available Via Wi-Fi On Kindle

Amazon has announced that its has now made more than 50,000 audio books from Amazon subsidiary Audible Audiobooks available on their Kindle eBook reader via Wi-Fi. Dispensing for the need to tether your Kindle via USB to be able to load the audio books on to your device.

Unfortunately the service still doesn’t work over 3G at the moment  due to the download limits, but 50,000 audio books should keep you going for some time.

Ainol Android 3.0 Honeycomb Tablet

Ainol have released some photos and more details on their new Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablet, and whilst we do not know the full specifications we get a few more details.

This new Honeycomb tablet from Ainol will feature a IPS capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 80 pixels, and a Cortex A-9 processor, plus it will also come with a front facing camera for video chat.

Speck CandyShell Card iPhone 4 And Credit Card Case

Speck has just added a new innovative case to its huge range of iOS device cases with the CandyShell Card case, that allows you to carry your credit cards and phone together, without the need to carry a wallet or purse if needed.

The credit card simply slot into a space behind the iPhone on the rear of the case and are released by pushing your thumb on the other edge of the card using a cutout in the case to allow you to push out your cards.

Asus Eee Pad Transformer Android Honeycomb Tablet Gets Official

We have been hearing about the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Android Honeycomb tablet for some time, and Asus has now officially announced that they have started shipping this new tablet.

The Asus Eee pad Transformer will come with Android 3.0 Honeycomb, and it features a 10.1 inch IPS touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, processing is provided by a NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and it also comes with 1GB of RAM.

IMDb App Update Adds Airplay For Trailers

This week the IMDb has updated their iOS application with a few useful features for movie buffs, including AirPlay which now allows you to stream trailers from your iPhone and iPad IMDb app directly to your Apple TV.

Together with a new watch list feature that allows you to create and maintain IMDb watchlists allowing you to track movies and TV shows that interest you. The update also includes fixes for a number of small issues and bugs to improve overall performance.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Getting Android 2.3 Gingerbread

Recently we saw an unofficial version of Android Gingerbread for the Xperia X10, and now Sony Ericsson has confirmed that they are now working on bringing Android 2.3 Gingerbread to the Xperia X10.

Previously Sony Ericsson had stated that they had no plans to updgrade the Xperia X10 beyond Android 2.1 Eclair, but now it seems they have changed their minds and will be delivering Gingerbread to the X10 by the end of quarter two or the beginning of quarter three.

BlackBerry PlayBook Will Support Android Apps, Well Sort Of

We heard a rumor a while back that RIM”s new tablet, the BlackBerry PlayBook would support Android apps, now RIM has confirmed that the PlayBook will sort of support Android apps.

What this means is that RIM, will make it easy for Android app developers to port their applications over to the playbook, using what RIM calls “high degree of API compatibility”, although Google’s Android Market will not be available on the PlayBook.

Nook Color Receiving Flash Support And App Store In April

The Home Shopping Network (HSN) has revealed on its website that the Nook Color will be receiving a new update next month that will bring with it both Adobe flash support to the eBook reader together with its own App Store.

Skype Mac 5.1 Update Adds Active Speaker Focus

Skype has just rolled out their latest update for mac machines Skype 5.1 which brings with it a new feature that allows participants in group calls can easily identify active speakers. Together with numerous fixes including solutions to the iSight Firewire webcam detection problem.

Other updates include the ability to now select recent called numbers stored in the dial pad and the ability to provide feedback to Skype once a call comes to an end.

Five In One Dongle For iPad 2

A new iPad dongle has been released designed to be the equivalent of the swiss army knife dongle for the iPad 2 and first generation iPad. Incorporating a SD card slot, a MicroSD card slot, an HDMI port, a USB port, and a mini USB port all in one.

Unfortunately you can only use one port at a time on the dongle and if your are already ready thinking about using an external hard drive connected via USB as extra storage device for media, the dongle doesn’t allow this either. However you can connect a USB keyboard to the dongle is you so wish, and the dongle is also equipped with an AV out socket on the left side.

Microsoft has updated its Bing for mobile, and the latest version of Bing for mobile brings a range of new features for Bing to mobile devices, which include faster image search, plus real time transit directions.

The latest version of Bing for mobile uses HTML5, and it is designed to bring added features to smartphone browsers for both Google Android devices and Apple iOS devices, so what about Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 smartphones, it looks like WP7 users may have to wait a while.

iPad 2 UK Shipping Time Is Two To Three Weeks

The iPad 2 went on sale in the UK at Apple’s online store at 1am this morning, it looks like iPad 2 fans will have to wait a while to get their hands on Apple’s second generation tablet as Apple has listed the shipping times for its online orders of two to three weeks.

The iPad 2 will go on sale at 5PM this afternoon in Apple Store’s around the UK as well as authorised retailers, which includes a number of mobile networks here in the UK who are selling the iPad 2 with mobile data contracts.

Google Delays Release Of Android Honeycomb Source Code

It looks like Google has decided not to release the source code for the tablet version of its mobile OS, Android 3.0 Honeycomb, and it seems that the reason behind this is that Google wants to restrict Honeycomb’s use to tablets.

Google has said that it will delay the release of the Honeycomb source code for the foreseeable future, and Google has said that the Honeycomb source code is not ready to be customized for other devices like smartphones.

Android In App Payments Launching Next Week

Google announced a while back that they would be bringing in app payments to their Android Market, and they have just announced that in app payments will launch on the Android Market next week.
