Mozilla Releases Firefox 4 Mobile For Android (Video) Posted: 29 Mar 2011 08:51 AM PDT Mozilla has just announced on their blog that they have released Firefox 4 for Android, and it is also available to download for Maemo devices, and we suspect it could end up being very popular amongst Android fans, if it follows the same pattern last week when the desktop version of Firefox 4 was released. According to Mozilla, Firefox 4 is up to three times faster than the stock browser in Android, and it comes with major enhancements to the JavaScript engine, which is designed to make sites load faster. Posted: 29 Mar 2011 08:49 AM PDT Following on from the update to its mobile applications Evernote has today unveiled their newly revamped web app which has been redesigned with a new three panel interface, and has been designed to function in browser on either your tablet, computer or mobile device if required. Other tweaks within the new Evernote web app include performance improvements together with a share button for easily firing off notes to others via the major social networking sites or email. An auto save feature has also been included in the new web app, which works in a similar way to Google Docs that automatically saves as you write. Jolicloud Browser Update Now Allows Direct Editing Of Google Doc Files Posted: 29 Mar 2011 08:07 AM PDT Joilcloud has unveiled a new update to their Joilcloud browser which now allows users to directly edit Google Doc documents directly from the Jolicloud File Browser. The feature has already been enabled, but if you dont see it yet on your installation, you may need to just refresh your Jolicloud Desktop. As with the recently added Dropbox integration this connection is persistent, meaning anytime you log into your Jolicloud either via a browser or Joli OS, your Google Docs and Dropbox files will appear automatically inside your desktop. Skyfire iOS Web Browser Updates With Multilingual Support Posted: 29 Mar 2011 07:56 AM PDT The iOS version of the Flash playing mobile browser Skyfire has now been updated to support seven new languages including: French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish. Other features added in the new update also include a related sites service, that allows you to see other similar sites to the one you are currently viewing. The feature has been added to help out when you may encounter a site that doesn’t support the Skyfire browser completely or when you might need more information on a subject, via a simply button press.

Nokia obviously not happy with the outcome of last weeks ruling, has now filed a new case where they are alleging that Apple has infringed on Nokia patents for multitasking operating systems, data synchronization, positioning, call quality and the use of Bluetooth accessories, Nokia released the following statement. Quadrocopter Ball Juggling (Video) Posted: 29 Mar 2011 03:22 AM PDT We have featured a few different videos of quadrocopters here at Geeky Gadgets, the latest one is probably one of the coolest so far, as they are being used for juggling in the video below. As you will see from the video, the two quadrocopters are being used to pass a small white ball between each one, and when they are working alone they can also keep the ball in the air, and can also pass it back to someone who throws the ball at them. Intel Launches Third-Generation 320 Series SSD Drives Posted: 29 Mar 2011 01:22 AM PDT Intel have today announced the launch of its third generation 320 Series SSD drives based on 25-nm NAND flash memory and available in 40, 80, 120, 160, 300 and massive 600GB options. The new 320 series SSD drives see a large performance increase over their predecessors with Intel more than doubling the sequential write speeds when compared to second-generation SSD drives. The new service allows existing Amazon customers in the US to upload their MP3 purchases to a personal 5GB sized storage area in the cloud.
