LucidWorks Brings the Power of Search to the Enterprise

When someone thinks of search, more often than not the names Google (News - Alert) or Bing will come to mind. We are such a data-driven society that we’ve even turned Google into its own verb when in conversation. But when it comes to the enterprise, while Google and Bing are serving the consumer base, there is LucidWorks.

Formerly known as Lucid Imagination, LucidWorks offers enterprise-grade embedded search solutions for search, discovery and analytics. The company started by providing support for the Apache Lucene/Solr open source search project, as well as documenting and training.
