Google Android Modify Watch

Whilst these Android watches won’t exactly communicate with your latest Android smartphone, they do come with Google’s Android mascot on the watch face.

Google has teamed up with Modify Watches to produce these fun Android themed timepieces, and as well as Android ones there are also some featuring Google’s Chrome logo and the Google logo.

Focus Designs Self Balancing Unicycle Version 2.0 Now Available (video)

Focus Designs have been developing their self-balancing unicycle for some time and are now ready to released a new Version 2.0 which is ready for market and is available to purchase for around $1500.

Focus Designs has used seven sensors, gyros and  accelerometers to monitor the orientation of the unicycle. Which is then decoded via a processor, by a number of custom algorithms. This data is then feed down to the hub-mounted motor which then either speeds up or slows down to maintain axial forwards/backwards balance. HTC Sense 4.0 To Come With 50GB Dropbox

HTC will be showing off a new range of smartphones at MWC 2012 next month, these new devices are expected to come with the latest version of HTC’s custom user interface, HTC Sense 4.0.

Now it would appear that we get some information on what will be included in HTC Sense 4.0, which will include 50GB of Dropbox storage and a range of new features.

Samsung Galaxy S III Appears On Samsung’s Website?

We now know that the Samsung Galaxy S III exists, Samsung confirmed it in their recent earnings call and now it would appear that the Galaxy S III has appeared on Samsung’s website.

According to the guys over at Pocket Now, a reference to the Samsung GT-I9300 has appeared on Samsung’s website in the UAE, and this apparently corresponds to the Samsung Galaxy S III.

iKliK is a new multi-angle stand that has been designed by Brian Weinberg, its has been created to provide a steady stand for watching media on your iPhone. The iKliK is currently looking to make the jump from concept to production over on the Kickstarter website and is counting down with just 66 hours left on the clock, and 95% funded.

The simple design provides an easy way to angle your iPhone to the perfect position for viewing without having to worry about it dropping on the floor, whilst travelling in a vehicle or plane that might experience a little turbulence. 50-Dollar Follow Focus DSLR Lens Controller (video)

Anyone that uses a stabilising mount with their DSLR and is looking for an easy way to control their focus without losing stability. Might be interested in the new design which is currently over on the Kickstarter website, looking to make its jump to production.

The 50-Dollar Follow Focus as its called has been designed by Wiley Davis, and has already been pledged nearly $70,000 with still 17 days to go. Davis originally asked for help raising just $10,000 to kickstart his project but, overwhelming interest has help his dream come true early. Twitter To Censor Tweets By Country

At a time when Internet censorship has become a hot topic, Twitter has decided to announced that it will now censor tweets by country, and certain tweets may now be blocked on a particular country depending on the rules of that country.

Previously when Twitter blocked a tweet, it was removed from Twitter, now what will happen is that Twitter will be able to block a tweet from being shown in one country, whilst the tweet can still be seen in other countries around the world.

Infinity Ward Fixing MW3 Elite DLC Maps Locked To Single Account

Modern Warfare 3 Xbox 360 gamers who are already aware of the issue with the new Elite DLC maps being locked to one account on Xbox Live. Will be pleased to learn that Infinity Ward has issued a statement this morning, saying that they are aware of the problem and are currently working on a fix which they hope to roll out very soon.

The map locking issue is a big deal for Xbox 360 users of the game as it violates Microsoft's own Xbox Live terms and conditions. But after a little investigation and discussion it now seems that the locking is probably an honest mistake by Infinity Ward.

Google+ Opens It Doors To Teenagers, Adds Additional Safety Features

Google has today opened its Google+ social networking site up to users aged 13 years and over, dropping the signup age from 18 years an over. Google+ is now available to anyone that is old enough to have a Google Account, which is 13+ in most countries.

In opening the Google+ doors to younger users Google has also added a few safety features, and has tweaked kits Hangouts service to accommodate the younger users. Now if a younger member joins a Hangout, Google+ will automatically cut off audio and video to the younger user, asking them if they would like to participate or leave.

Lenovo ThinkPad X130e Now Available

Lenovo announced its latest notebook, the Lenovo X130e back in December, and now this budget friendly notebook has gone on sale an is available for $429 for the entry level model.

As a reminder, the Lenovo X130e comes with an 11.6 inch HD LED display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, and is also come with a choice of processors and up to 8GB of RAM.

iSupport Unveils Three New iPhone 4S Video Mounts

iSupport has unveiled a new range of supports and mounts specifically designed for Apple’s iPhone 4S. The three new devices range from the lightweight mount pictured after the jump to the fully featured Cine mount below.

Starting with the cheapest at $49 the basic iSupport is available in two sizes, one for iPhones in cases and one for iPhones without a case, both are constructed from ABS polymer. The middle priced mount is the iSupport Pro available for $79 and provides a centre weight and a handle on either side to help steady you iPhone while recording.

SoulCaliber 5 Launch Trailer Combines Five In One (video)

If you are looking forward to the launch of the latest Soulcaliber 5 game, arriving in less than a week from now. You might be interested in the new launch trailer that has been released, which seems to combine five trailers in one. Check it out after the jump.

In the Soulcaliber 5 game a new player gauge has been introduced that works similarly to the “super meters” found in other fighting games. The “Critical Finishes” of the previous game have also been removed, as is the Soul Gauge. Armour remains destructible but no longer has an indicator showing when it will break.

Android Grand Theft Auto III Updated With SD Card And Transformer Prime Support

A new update has been released by Rockstar games this week for their new Grand Theft Auto III Android port, which arrived in the Android Market just over a month ago. Watch the video after the jump to see it in action.

The 10th Anniversary Edition of Grand Theft Auto III onto Android devices was launched with a few user unable to play the game. However the new update has brought with it SD card support together with the ability to run the game on the Medion Lifetab and the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime.

Motorola Sold Just 1 Million Tablets In 2011

Motorola has released their latest financial information for the last quarter of 2011, and along with the figures we get some information on how many devices the company has sold.

Motorola sold a total of 200,000 tablets in the last quarter of 2011,  for comparison Apple sold a who sold a total of 15.43 million iPads for the same period in 2011.

Google Earth 6.2 Update Adds Smooth Seamless Scrolling

Yesterday Google started rolling out a new update for its Google Earth software, which takes it to version 6.2. The new Google Earth update has now removed the “patchwork effect” normally seen when viewing images in Google Earth. Google has now replaced the images with a seamless smooth scrolling action.

The new Google Earth update also has a new feature that allows you to share a screenshot on Google+, plus search layers, where users can perform local searches and get directions, very much like you can do on Google’s Maps service.

Sony Xperia S To Feature Anti-Stain Shell

Sony recently announced their latest Android smartphone, the Sony Xperia S, and now we have some more details on the device, it will apparently come with some sort of special anti-stain shell.

According to a recent report, the anti-stain shell on the Xperia S is some sort of special nano coating that will be dirt repellent and also UV active, and the device is also reported to come with a fast charging ability.

Google Music Manager Update Enables Downloads

Google has this week expanded the functionality of their Music Manager for Google Music to allow users to download tunes directly from their cloud. In the past users have only been able to upload their tunes, but the new features now enables you to retrieve your entire library with one easy click of a button.

The new feature complete the Google Music package perfectly and provides a backup for your music library, enables streaming them to any computer with a web browser, Android phone or tablet, and now provides the ability to download your music to a PC.

BlackBerry Bold 9790 Lands On Vodafone UK

The guys over at Vodafone just dropped us an email to let us know that the BlackBerry Bold 9790 is now available on their network here in the UK, the device has been available SIM free from a number of retailer for a couple of weeks.

Vodafone are offering the BlackBerry Bold 9790 for free on their 24 month contract which starts at £31 per month, and the handset comes witj BlackBerry 7 OS.

Nintendo Wii U Will Be Equipped With NFC Support

Nintendo has today announced that when their new Wii U console arrives later this year, it will come fitted with support for near field communication (NFC). Nintendo’s president Satoru Iwata explained that the company has added NFC technology to enable their new gaming console to interact with cards and gaming figurines.

Other possibilities for using the new NFC support might even include the ability to make micro-payments directly from your Wii U console, as the NFC hardware included in the Wii U will be compatible with the widely-used FeliCa and MIFARE standards.

Western Digital My Book Thunderbolt Duo Drive Announced

Western Digital has added another external hard drive to their range with the launch of the WD My Book Thunderbolt DUO, which is one of Western Digital’s first HDD to use Intel’s new Thunderbolt technology.

iPhone 4S Makes Up 89 Percent Of All iPhone Sales

Last week Apple released their latest financial results, and they also announced how many iPhone’s they sold in the last quarter of 2011 which covers the period from the 14th of October to the 31st of December.

Apple announced that they had sold a total of 37.04 million iPhones in the last quarter of 2012, although they didn’t provide a breakdown by model, the company sells three different models, the iPhone 3GS, the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 4S.

Spotify Hits 3 Million Paid Subscribers

Spotify, the popular online music streaming service looks like it has hit another milestone, the company has announced that they now have a total of 3 million paid subscribers.

This is up 500,000 from 2.5 million in November of 2011, Spotify was sat at 2 million paid subscriber in September of 2011, and the company has said that more than 20 percent of its active users are paid subscribers.

Samsung Posts Q4 Record Profits Of $4.7 Billion On $42 Billion Revenue

Samsung has released its earnings figures for the fourth quarter of 2012, and the company has posted a record profit of 5.3 trillion Won, which works out at around $4.72 billion USD, on gross revenue of 47 trillion Won, which is around $42 billion USD.

This is Samsung’s highest ever quarter, and the profits and high revenue have been driven by sales of Samsung’s smartphones which made up around forty percent of Samsung’s overall revenue.
