Posted: 27 Dec 2011 04:20 AM PST

Nowadays we have all sorts of gaming consoles on the market, but if you have a thing for retro video games and consoles, today we have a perfect steampunk console for you.

This retro steampunk console is called R-Kaid-6, and it is designed by Love Hultén. We have to mention that Love Hultén designed the retro PC casemod Sputnik 0667 that we covered a while ago, and as for its latest creation, R-Kaid-6, it is inspired by classic Atari 2600 and other retro gaming consoles.

As for the console, R-Kaid-6 is made out of wood, 10 year old computer and two arcade controllers. According to Love, R-Kaid-6 was created in few months, and the console is using custom version of the frontend Maximus Arcade for emulators.

R-Kaid-6 will look great in your room, even if you're not a fan of steampunk or retro video games, but sadly, no information about its price is available at the moment.
