Hewlett-Packard and Cisco Team Up to Discuss Cloud Technologies

The cloud is fundamentally changing the way we connect with each other and with information.

The software giant Hewlett-Packard (News - Alert) recently teamed up with Cisco (News - Alert) to extend its cloud computing efforts, exposing a host of new technologies expected for cloud service providers during a recent Webinar, according to news reports.

According to eMoney Daily, a Cisco spokesman said, “The explosion in applications that we’re seeing now for platforms like the iPhone (News - Alert) and iPad, and for our Cius tablet PC…and others, are needed to handle all this new content perhaps a billion new terabytes. This will all involve how we will move that all around, how we will handle rights and access permissions, and more. This will be the background for all our product roadmaps... Read More
