| Uno 24 – a revolutionary watch from Botta Posted: 22 Mar 2011 01:00 AM PDT The German company Botta is offering a classic looking watch that brings a new way of time reading. Clocks with hands are usually divided into 12 hours and two hands, whereas Uno 24 from Botta has a single hand that is walking on a 24-hour dial.
Furthermore, the hours from 18 to 6 has a dark background, indicating the evening and the night. Uno 24 has recently received the Red Dot and the Good Design Award for its awesome design. In the vertical lower diameter on the quadrant is displayed the date. The housing is constructed of stainless steel and can withstand a pressure of three atmospheres. What is impressive in this watch is the existence of a dial etched with numbers from 0 to 23, which passes over a single ‘hand’ that makes one rotation in a day. If you are impressed and want to make it a gift the Uno 24 will cost you $419.00. [via Techfresh] Check it out, we're giving away a brand new iPod Nano 16GB! | ZaggMate keyboard for iPad 2, not quite a MacBook but close enough Posted: 21 Mar 2011 12:43 PM PDT Hate using the touch keyboard on your iPad? Need a protective case for your new iPad 2? Well a new case from Zagg is both a protective case and keyboard you can use. Zagg has made the ZaggMate for your iPad 2. The original design of it was a case to protect your iPad but it now also provides a Bluetooth keyboard built in. The sleek design makes your iPad 2 look good and also it is protected with a durable casing on the outside of the keyboard. The ZaggMate case is made out of aircraft aluminum which is bead blasted with a silver finish to give the look of your iPad 2. The keyboard has a hinge which allows you to type in different angles either portrait or landscape. The ZaggMate case will sell in retail stores for $99 whereas if you’re here in the UK, you’re looking at a £90 investment, not quite the equivalent but I reckon its still a decent iPad 2 gadget / accessory worth considering.
