Samsung Slim external 3D Blu-ray player combo drive

Samsung has announced a new external 3D Blu ray player combo drive for the PC. Most new computers out nowadays have built in Blu ray players but now you can have an external one. These slim 3D lu ray optical drives have a sleek design and anti-fingerprint surface. It plays Blu rays, has 3D support and also reads and writes CD/DVD roms. This is really surprising but the device uses USB 2.0 not the new 3.0 but still very good, and works on Windows and Mac. It reads/writes between 6-8X for all different discs including CDs, DVDs, Blu Rays, 3D Blu rays. Samsung will be releasing this SE-406A slim external 3D Blu ray optical drive in April and it should cost around $150. This product would be perfect for you if you don’t have a built in Blu ray player in your PC and you want to watch Blu rays, or if you just want an external device to play them for you.

Latest gadgets: NZXT H2 – new mid tower silent cases

The newest model of the mid tower cases made by NZXT H2 bearing the name were announced today by the manufacturer. For gamers who also seek a maximum noise levels, carcasses were equipped with an extensive list of features designed to ensure quietness without neglecting the necessary equipment to PC gamers.

NZXT H2 is made of steel and plastic with a weight of 8.9kg and dimensions of 215 x 466 x 520 mm which allows the installation of video cards of 270mm length (HDDs) or 310mm (without HDDs). Located in the upper front panel provides a 3-speed fan controller (40%, 70%, 100%), a USB 3.0 connector, three USB 2.0 and audio jacks.

The cooling system includes two front 12mm fans and one 120mm rear. For optical storage devices, NZXT H2 offers three external bays for 5.25″ and 8 internal of 3.5″/2.5″(oriented longitudinally for better airflow), all with screwless mounting system.

NZXT H2 will be marketed by Caseking External Link in two versions (black and white) at a price of $99, the black version is available from mid-April and the white from the middle of May.
