Gathering a developer community around an idea is all about a few dedicated leaders; those who either write code for distribution or who enable writers of code to gather around each other. The Gemalto M2M Concept Board has the potential to both marry two very strong communities as well as enable a variety of new Internet of Things devices.
The Gemalto M2M Concept Board was developed for the more than nine million Java developers worldwide, who are at the heart of many of the systems at work today. Embedded Java has libraries that represent an ability to maintain the code and support worldwide deployment, and the price-point of the Concept Board is low enough to allow a portion of the community to go off and start tinkering on their own.
