Two more Goldman Sachs partners are exiting, and the departures may take a bite out of the firm's growth plans.

Sumit Rajpal and Andrew Wolff, two of three coheads of a merged alternative-investing unit created by CEO David Solomon last year, are retiring, according to an internal memo from the firm.

Rajpal and Wolff were slated to be lead investors for Goldman's eighth private-equity fund. Julian Salisbury, the other cohead, will now run the unit alone. Rich Friedman will continue as chairman.
