On July 11, I am moderating a webinar with Proxim about HD video surveillance.
Lately, I have been seeing a few new implementations that seem counter-intuitive to my expectations. Namely, I have been seeing bundled solutions that are closed and do not take advantage of commercially available products.
As my conversations with Bob Wallace, the chair of Video World, have reminded me, the changes are all over the place starting with the availability of HD TVs and HD cameras. In other words the shift is pervasive.
So why then do I see solutions that ignore the synergies of best of breed selection and just offer one size that fits all?
