Green Drive EnLighten app keeps an eye on traffic lights

Posted: 25 Feb 2014 10:01 PM PST

Driving for long periods of time can be tiring, and today we have a app that could help you while you're driving.

Green Drive has developed an app called EnLighten app, and this app is aimed towards drivers in order to help them "relax" by alerting them when the traffic lights have changed their colors. This app syncs with your city's traffic light system in order to calculate how much time has left before the light turns green. This means that this app won't work worldwide, and currently it only works in Portland, Oregon; Eugene, Oregon; Pasadena, California; Arcadia, California; San Jose, California; Salt Lake City, Utah; Provo, Utah; Garland, Texas and Las Vegas. If your location isn't on the list, you should know that developers plan to add support for more locations in the future.

EnLighten app might come in handy if you are feeling a bit tired after a long drive and you're losing your concentration, but for safety reasons you shouldn't completely rely on EnLighten app while driving.
