Mushkin announces 480GB Ventura Ultra USB 3.0 SSD

Portable hard drives are great for file transfer and backup, and speaking of portable hard drives, Mushkin has announced its new SSD, so let's have a closer look at it.



Mushkin Ventura Ultra Series is quite famous, and this series has just received its later member that comes with 480GB of storage space. 480GB Ventura Ultra USB 3.0 SSD is LSI SandForce SF-2281 powered and it delivers 455MB/s read speed and 455MB/s write speed which provides up to 39K 4K random IOPS. This device can also operate in UASP mode that enables SSD performance in the USB flash drive form factor. We have to mention that this device comes in a light-weight aluminum housing that looks attractive, but at the same time it provides you with outstanding durability and thermal management.

480GB Ventura Ultra USB 3.0 SSD sounds great, but so far there's no information regarding availability or pricing.

Sony announces 4.3-inch XPERIA Z1 Compact Android smartphone

Sony XPERIA Z1 is a great device, but if you want something smaller but with same hardware power you might be interested in latest device that comes from Sony.



Sony XPERIA Z1 Compact is a minified version of the XPERIA Z1, and this device comes with almost same hardware specs but with a smaller display. This smartphone comes with 4.3-inch display and 720p resolution with 340 PPI density. Regarding the hardware, XPERIA Z1 Compact is powered by Snapdragon 800 CPU, 16GB of internal storage space, and there's a microSD card for expansion. This model comes with similar design as the other XPERIA models, and it's also waterproof. In addition, this model has a 20-Megapixel camera and a 2300mAh battery.

Sony XPERIA Z1 Compact offers a lot for a 4.3-inch device, and it can easily compete with other 4.3-inch Android devices, but unfortunately, we have no information regarding the availability or price.
