Today’s advice comes our interview with Joel Bomgar, Founder and CEO of Bomgar:
"Always be willing to listen to anyone, but trust your own intuition. At a certain point, only you can determine what the right decision is, so don't be afraid to make it, even if a colleague is telling you otherwise." When Bomgar started his company in 2003, he was a recent college grad and he turned to a handful of business-oriented people and family members for advice on operating and running his company. According to him, everyone will have an opinion or tidbit of advice for you and your business, but you should pick and choose what to follow. At the end of the day, experience is the best teacher. "You'd be surprised how much advice you can get for the price of a lunch. You should soak it up, but it's important to realize you can only take so much advice."
