Beyond The Board Room: Video Communication for Financial Industry
Tuesday, September 27, 2011 11:00 AM ET/ 8:00 AM PT

Traditionally the financial industry is the early adopter of technology. Making Money is not about taking time but making time count. When the iPhone first came out the normally locked down financial networks were invaded with personal devices that added productivity. Embedded in most of these devices is an ability to do video. While the deployment of Telepresence has added to the experience of meetings within the corporation, the ability to reach beyond the board room brings Metcalfe's law to dialogues with clients around the world. Often the use of video adds a dimension to our experience that brings the point home faster. And in case you never heard it before Time is Money.

Seeing is Believing. People are experiencing Video Communication with Skype, Google+ Hangouts, Facebook and many other facilities. However, the traditional business video communications as well the closed consumer networks such as Skype are not answering the need for business to connect with their clients. In the Financial industry, Video Communication promises to enrich the relationship between service providers (banks, insurances, mutual funds, wealth consultants and many others) and their clients, and to facilitate creation of the new services. As Video Communication continues to change the way people communicate, it's logical that it will expand the opportunities.

However, a number of issues should be addressed in order to successfully incorporate video communications into the business applications. There are issues of providing high definition high quality video over unmanaged networks, privacy, encryption, supporting video communications any time any place on any type of device over any network. The Financial industry has requirements for video communications where it is required to tie the video session with the business logic using web applications, monitoring and reporting. At the same time, it is an opportunity to differentiate and to create the new level of interaction between businesses and its core assets - customers.

Attend this free RADVISION webinar and learn about technology and tools available for enhancing any financial business application using cloud based control and management tools with high quality, easy to manage and use, ubiquitous video communications.
