GigaOm’s Ryan Kim wrote that Android (News - Alert) users who visit the newly renamed Verizon Apps will see a cleaner storefront and have access to a more powerful search tool to find the best apps. The Verizon (News - Alert) App store, which is built into about 15 Android devices, will also appear on new Android phones. In reality, Verizon and Chomp’s partnership started back in May when Chomp released an app in the VCast App Store that searched both Android Market and Verizon’s app catalog.
