Featured Articles IT professionals are faced with numerous challenges today, especially as businesses become more digital and rely heavily on technologies to complete tasks. Right now, nothing is more critical than ensuring that IT teams are up to date on all the latest processes and skills needed to address customer needs. Like many this holiday season, I received a Fitbit (Charge HR) as a gift. There's a lot of media obsessing on how the Fitbit app hit the number one spot on Apple's App store on December 25 and continues to ride high in the rankings. This time of year, forecasting the future is always intriguing, to take a look at what's ahead for technology. Product design firms like IPS tend to get a bird's-eye view-if not a crystal-ball look-at what New Year holds. While some of these predictions may take a bit longer to materialize than 2016, they provide a solid sense of emerging technology trends for the New Year and beyond.
