Good morning! Here's the tech news you need to know to start off the week.

1. Microsoft is reportedly investing in Uber. It's raising a $1 billion round of funding that will value the company at $50 billion.

2. A group of German vehicle manufacturers has reportedly agreed to purchase Nokia HERE. Uber had been in the running to buy the mapping service.

3. Photo-sharing app Frontback is back from the dead and will no longer shut down. The company says it has found a new partner.

4. Yahoo has acquired social shopping app Polyvore. The app was founded by three former Yahoo employees.

5. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan are having a baby. The couple is expecting a baby girl.

6. Snapchat will reportedly generate $50 million (£31 million) in revenue this year. It has 100 million daily active users.

7. Thousands of Verizon workers are preparing to strike. The wireless service has been unable to negotiate an agreement with unions over worker contracts.

8. Chinese hackers reportedly stole personal information from up to 6,000 students at the University of Connecticut. A breach was first detected in March.

9. The CEO of New York startup Quirky is stepping down. The company has been struggling to raise money for over a month.

10. The man who oversees Twitter's iOS and Android apps is leaving the company. Trevor O'Brien joined the company in 2013 after working at Google.
