Often when companies partner up, it is just about impossible to connect the dots that led to the initial arrangement, which leads to much head-scratching and trying to figure out what the customer need was that brought the entities together. With OnRamp Technologies and GE, however, this is most certainly not the case, as the relationship is symbiotic to the point where capital investment reflects on the part of both companies the expectation that they will go beyond today’s integrations.
OnRamp Wireless CEO Kevin Hell made some great points in a recent conversation. He told me that innovations in fracking have been a boon to oil and gas from a domestic standpoint, and that OnRamp Wireless’s Digital Oil Field solutions support everything – from monitoring the production to video surveillance – at fracking sites.
