Call Centers Turning to Paper and Pen to Enroll People in the ACA

The rise of the Internet was supposed to make everything easier. We weren’t supposed to have to rely on snail-mail and long sessions on hold thanks to advances on the Web. The massive issues that have popped up with the Affordable Care Act have changed things in that regard. While there are dedicated professionals working tirelessly to try and fix the ACA website, it is not fixed just yet. This means that people have turned to a more old school approach when it comes to signing up for the new insurance programs offered.

                                                                                                             

Certainly there are some state health exchanges that have actually managed to be successful. One call center in Spokane, WA, has made it clear that its employees are doing the work that needs to be done. The call center has managed to continue to enroll people, or give them the information they need even as the official website continues to struggle.
