| Acer Iconia W4: 8-inch Windows 8 tablet Posted: 25 Nov 2013 10:01 PM PST Few months ago we covered Acer Iconia W3 tablet that runs on Windows 8, and today we have another 8-inch tablet from Acer. 
Acer Iconia W4 is a successor to Iconia W3, and it comes with 8-inch IPS display that delivers better color reproduction and better viewing angles. According to Acer, this tablet uses "Zero Air Gap technology" meaning that there's no air between the LCD and the panel so we should get improved readability and reduced reflection. Acer Iconia W4 got a hardware boost as well, and it comes with Intel's 4th-generation Atom 1.8GHz processor, 5-megapixel main camera and 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls. Regarding the storage, there will be two models available: 32GB and 64GB, but there's also a microSD card slot for further expansion.

ZaReason ZaTab ZT2 comes with Allwinner A31 ARM Cortex-A7 quad-core processor and PowerVR SGX544 MP2 graphics chipset. This device uses 10.1-inch IPS display and it uses 1,280 x 800 pixel resolution, and it has 5-point capacitive multi touch touchscreen. Regarding the memory, ZaReason ZaTab ZT2 uses 2GB of RAM and it has 8GB of internal storage space, but if you need more space, you can easily expand it thanks to the microSD card slot. Additional features include mini HDMI port, a micro USB port, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity, 5-megapixel camera on the back, a front-facing VGA camera and a 6,000mAh battery. Regarding the software, this device runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Acer Chromebook C720-2848 is a 11.6-inch device and it uses 1366 x 768 display resolution, it's powered by Intel Celeron processor based on Haswell micro architecture. Additional specs include 2GB of DRAM, 16GB SSD and 100GB of free Google Drive online storage for first two years. We should also mention that this device comes with webcam, 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, HDMI, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 port. Acer Chromebook C720-2848 can last about 8.5 hours on a single charge, and it weighs only 1.25kg or 2.75lbs so you can carry it with you at all times. | Meizu MX3 smartphone comes with 128GB of storage space Posted: 25 Nov 2013 07:55 AM PST Storage space is quite important on our mobile devices, especially if you like storing your favorite music, shows and movies, and speaking of which, today we have a smartphone that takes the storage space capacity to a whole new level. 
Chinese manufacturer Meizu has released its MX3 smartphone, and this smartphone comes with 5.1 inch 1,800×1,080 pixel resolution display and 15:9 aspect ratio. Additional hardware specs include Exynos 5 Octa processor and 2GB of RAM. Selling point of this smartphone is its internal storage, and Meizu MX3 comes with 128GB of internal storage space, so you probably won't need to buy any additional microSD cards to expand your storage. Of course, there will be models with less storage space as well. We have to point out that this smartphone works only with TD-SCDMA, which makes it compatible only with China Mobile, but there's also GSM 2G network support as well.
