In particular, we took note of the company's excellent Locality Suite, which we highlighted in the Gems article. We also noted in a bit of detail there our 10 year history of covering the company. Suffice it to say we know NetMotion pretty darn well and we know their product suites.   We caught up with the folks at NetMotion again late last week to chat about the newest version of their Mobility XE platform, the company's mobile VPN platform that enables myriad mobile connectivity capabilities. The newest full, next-generation-release announcement was made available to the public Monday morning, and it comes with a slight surprise, though something that perhaps should have come sooner -- the company is finally dropping the "XE" from the platform name, which will henceforth simply be called "Mobility."
