We live in a crazy world where there are far too many restrictions on what we can and can’t do. Sometimes rules are good. Sometimes they are just stupid. Like trademarks and how they are awarded. According to a report from gaming site Gamasutra, Apple is in the process of warning iOS developers that if the titles of their games contain the word “memory,” they might soon be pulled from the App Store.

The iPad mini may be small, but the demand for the device has people doing crazy things, just like other Apple devices. It just took two guys with a truck to easily steal 3,600 iPad minis that had just arrived at JFK Airport. There are 3,600 Apple customers who are very disappointed right now.

Skype 4.1 Update Arrives On Linux

Skype has today launched a new version of its communication software releasing version 4.1 for the Linux open-sourced operating system, enabling Linux users to benefit from a few new tweaks and features.

Microsoft has also updated the user interface for Linux Skype and added hotkeys that can pull-up the dialpad during Skype-to-Skype and conference calls if required, together with support for secondary logins.

Toshiba AT300SE Android Tablet Announced

Toshiba has launched a new version of it AT300 Android tablet, the AT300SE and it comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and features a 10.1 inch LCD display, processing is provided by an NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor.

Other specifications on the Toshiba AT300SE include 1GB of RAM and it also comes with 16GB of built in storage, there is also a microSD card slot which can take up to 64GB cards.

JBL’s First iOS Audio Lightning Connector Docks Unveiled

JBL has this week unveiled their new line of audio docks which have been designed for use with Apple’s new iPhone 5 and devices equipped with Apple’s latest Lightning connector, which replaced the older 30 pin connection, currently used on the iPhone 4s and older.

The pair of docking stations unveiled today by JBL include the $199 OnBeat Venue LT and the $99 OnBeat Micro, which is a portable speaker dock providing up to 5 hours of playback on a pair of batteries.

Pioneer has this week launched a new edition to their range of DJ mixer with the unveiling of a the DJM-2000nexus performance mixer, which is equipped with Pioneer Pro DJ Link technology.

The DJM-2000nexus mixer is fitted with a 5.8-inch LCD multitouch panel, and support Beat Effects, and MIDI control capability, and has been designed to be easily linked to the Pro DJ Link enabled Pioneer CDJ player via network cables.

UK mobile carrier Vodafone has launched a new smartphone plans designed for people who like to get their hands on the latest smartphones, called Red Hot, it is designed to let you get your hands on the latest device for 12 months, after that you can then swap it for a new device.

There is basically no up front cost for the handset, instead you rent the device from the carrier for the period of 12 months, Vodafone explains how it works below.

Call of Duty: Black Ops: Declassified the PS Vita version of Activision’s fully blown first-person-shooter has now launched in the EU PlayStation Store for £45.

We have heard rumors previously that Samsung will be launching a dual SIM version of their Galaxy Note II smartphone, and now according to a recent report the device will launch in China on the 24th of November.

The dual SIM version of the Galaxy Note II is rumored to be headed to China Telecom, and it will apparently take one GSM SIM card and one CDMA SIM card.

It has been a considerable time since Toshiba first unveiled their new 8 GB FlashAir SDHC cards which are equipped with embedded Wi-Fi technology, but now Toshiba has announced they will be available both online and in stores this month.

The FlashAir SDHC card is equipped with a WLAN chip + antenna inside, and is compliant with SD Association Memory card standards, and allows its data to be accessed by several different devices at the same time.

Apple’s New iMacs Delayed (Rumor)

Apple announced their new range of iMacs recently, and the 21.5 inch model was due to go on sale at the end of this month, with the 27th inch model launching some time in December.

Apple’s CEO TIM Cook mentioned in a recent earnings call that supply of the new iMacs could be limited at launch, but did not give any specific details on how many would be available.

It looks like HTC may be launching another version of the new HTC Droid DNA that we saw earlier in the week in China next month, the HTC DLX, which we recently saw some leaked photos of.

The HTC DLX is rumored to land in China on the 6th of December and will share similar specifications to the new Droid DNA, which will include a 5 inch full HD touchscreen display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

Since owning my first iPad I have used a wealth of different styluses to both write, sketch with and navigate throughout iPad applications, and on seeing the Hand Stylus I immediately thought its smaller 4mm nib would be perfect for additional accuracy whilst sketching. Without the need to invest in the more expensive smaller nibbed styluses that require an adapter to be inserted into the 30 pin port of your iPad to use.

Samsung Has No Plans To Settle With Apple

Apple and Samsung are in the middle of a number of different court cases around the world, Apple won a major victory against Samsung a while back when Samsung were told by a US court to pay Apple over $1 billion in damages.

Apple has also been involved in various court cases with other Android manufacturers, one of those is HTC, who have now agreed a patent licensing deal with Apple, but Samsung has announced that they have no intention of doing the same thing.

LG Optimus Regard Lands On Cricket

We first saw a leaked photo of the new LG Optimus Regard earlier this month, and now the device is official and is now available in the US from Cricket, and it is their first 4G LTE capable handset.

The LG Optimus Regard features a 3.5 inch display with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, processing is provided by a dual core 1.2Ghz processor and it also comes with 1GB of RAM.

Pantech Magnus For AT&T Leaked

It looks like there is another new Android smartphone headed to US mobile carrier AT&T, the Pantech Magnus, which was posted to Twitter by @evleaks, the device is rumored to come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Other specifications on the Pantech Magnus include a dual core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor and 1GB of RAM the device is also rumored to feature a 4.3 inch HD display.
