Every year has a “trend” in the business press, and 2012 is no exception. In the insurance industry, 2012 is sure to be “the year of the customer,” at least according to PricewaterhouseCoopers’ (News - Alert) “Top Issues: The Insurance Industry in 2012.” Insurers are apparently becoming more focused on improving the customer experience as a way of differentiating themselves from their competitors and expanding their global market share.
