There are rumbles happening in the seedy underbelly that a revolution is brewing. In fact, some folks say it is already underway. The IoT is going to be the heart of the next industrial revolution, and in the vanguard will be the Industrial IoT. Here, as we in IoT struggle our way out of the industry's infancy and into a pimply adolescence, it's finally time to realize that the devices that operate out at the edge cannot sustain the industry as a whole.
