| Latest Featured Articles We always hear about the adoption rates of the latest technology and business impact, and why if you do not have the latest and best, the likelihood is that your enterprise is falling behind or destined to fail in regards to competition. This is particularly true when it comes to using digital tools to improve marketing efficiency and effectiveness, which includes these days having omni-channel interactions capabilities and increasing support of enabling technology such as WebRTC to support real-time multiple media customer engagement. There's a curious conundrum in the contact center industry: the people who tend to apply for jobs in physical contact center facilities are often young, not generally college educated and are part of a demographic that typically leads to high turnover as they "figure out what they want to be when they grow up." A company called SpeechTrans, which introduced its InterprePhone translation service for landline network callers a few years back, is now bringing translation and transcription capabilities to computer, smartphone, and tablet users. This week at its annual user's conference in Arizona, BroadSoft announced support for WebRTC through its BroadSoft Labs online incubator and as a "guest participant" feature in its UC-One unified communications application.
