I had the chance to speak with Parthesh Shastri Customer Success & OEM Strategy at SeeControl. Shastri manages channel management, partner programs and professional services. He joined the company from Sierra Wireless and prior to that, held executive positions at Axeda and Amazon.com. Shastri’s background might be a good indication of what to expect from SeeControl.
Like Amazon, SeeControl is designed as a cloud service, which gives them scale and efficiency to the point where their expectation is the customer can start with them as a market trial right from the beginning. On the scale side, they have a device manufacturer that went from pilot to production in three months and is supporting 450,000 units.
