Google has just announced long awaited Nexus 5 on its website, so without further delay, let's see what does this smartphone have to offer.

As for the hardware, this smartphone comes with 4.95-inch 1080p IPS display with 445 PPI density. Nexus 5 comes with 8 megapixel rear camera that is equipped with optical image magnetic-based stabilization module. Additional camera features include Google's new HDR+ photo mode that will capture burst of photos and automatically merge them together. Regarding the hardware, there's Snapdragon 800 2.26GHz processor that comes with integrated Adreno 330 graphics processor. As for the battery and charging, Nexus 5 comes with 2300mAh battery, and it supports wireless charging. This smartphone will support LTE and will be available with Sprint and T-Mobile in the USA.

We also have to notice that Nexus 5 will use Android 4.4 KitKat. Android 4.4 keeps track of your voice commands on permanent basis, and there's an immersive mode that hides UI elements during the movie playback or any other multimedia activity. In addition, Caller ID now searches Google listings in order to tell you who is calling, and your SMS, MMS and Hangout messages are merged into a single thread and organized by contact names.

Google Nexus 5 looks great, and as for availability, 16GB model is priced at $349 without a contract.
