Top Stories From The Expert Corner November 15, 2013 Dell SecureWorks Locks Down Virtual, Physical and Cloud Servers Dell (News - Alert) SecureWorks broadened its array of services this week with Service Protection Services, which leverages technology from Trend Micro to batten down the hatches on virtual, physical and cloud servers. Many shops, and certainly service providers, likely have all three. The tool is designed as an all-in-one, not just because it protects three kinds of servers, but because it offers four main types of security, anti-malware, firewall, Intrusion (News - Alert) Protection System and Intrusion Detection System (IDS/IPS). On the management side, Dell offers technicians from its Global Information (News - Alert) Assurance Certification (GIAC) who can oversee the network, analyzing, monitoring and fixing any problems that crop up.
