The Concept Community: Getting People on Board


Sometimes opposites attract and sometimes they may be two sides of the same coin. I get excited when I hear about well executed plans and at the same time when experimentation leads to discovery.  When I see this, it’s what I would call a, ‘Eureka’ moment.  For the Steve Jobs lovers, they would call it when technology looks like magic.


The important question is where we can find these opportunities to see magic, scream Eureka, and have a Gestalt aha! or be surprised by joy?  


Manfred Kube and I had a great follow-up conversation to my interview with him about Gemalto’s Concept Board. 


During the first conversation, Gemalto was at the point of wanting to make sure they were delivering on the promise of the Concept Board, so the community was invitation only.


Now, they are ready to have the Concept Board, “become the Raspberry Pi of M2M.”  What that means is two fold.  The first is that they want to make sure the entry level for the Concept Board is priced cheaply enough that there is no restriction to entry.
