Use cases now abound that prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that pay-as-you-go/pay-as-you-grow capabilities, along with having the flexibility to scale, support virtual workers and provide access to enterprise applications can save money and increase operational performance on a variety of scores.
However, there remain a few myths and misconceptions. At a high level, the biggest misconception is that the cloud, for all of its benefits, is less secure than doing things the way they have been traditionally done.
