MIT Professor Steven Spear introduced this concept in his 2010 book The High-Velocity Edge: How Market Leaders Leverage Operational Experience to Beat the Competition. Professor Spear states that any organization can create a high-velocity culture. It's not a matter of having more people, more tools or newer technologies. CompTIA IT Industry Business Confidence Index report finds a lessening in self-confidence from the second quarter of this year. An ever-growing array of options in the cloud field can make it difficult to choose just what exactly to go with in terms of setting up or expanding current operations. Datalink recently made that process just a little harder-or a little easier, depending on perspective-with the new release of its Cloud Complete package of services. Vulnerability scans and assessments can be very powerful tools when it comes to pinpointing weaknesses in technology infrastructure. It is only when organizations rely solely on vulnerability assessment (VA) tools for remediating issues that they find themselves in trouble, and the phenomenon is becoming increasingly problematic.
