Centrify Becomes Newest Member of Cloud Security Alliance - TMCnet's Cloud Communications eNews

Centrify, the developer of identify theft protection software Centrify Identity Platform, recently announced that it has become the CSA's newest member. That security platform helps secure enterprise data by scanning on-premise, cloud-based, and mobile applications and networks for signs of a breach. It authenticates users through a single sign-on, multi-factor process in order to vet all users and actions that could take place on any network.
Verizon has launched a secure, high-performance environment for cloud computing, dubbed Secure Cloud Interconnect (SCI), built on Verizon's Private IP network with any-to-any connectivity of IP.
Videoconferencing's origins are somewhat humble, starting out as the exciting stuff of science fiction before becoming part of many corporations' repertoire. As the technology advanced, we went from dedicated videoconferencing rooms to platforms that could be run from a desktop, and though it still has plenty of value today, a new report from CloudTweaks shows how videoconferencing has advanced, and what may be set to come down the line.
A new report from BCC Research has its sights set extremely high for the cloud optical systems and componentry market. After estimating that the market was around 1 billion dollars last year, they projected a growth to 1.2 billion for this year, and an astonishing 3.1 billion five years from now in 2020.
