Are Browsers That Do Not Support WebRTC Holding Chrome Back? - WebRTC World

Google appears to always be at the forefront of technology advancements and life changing concepts. WebRTC is also a revolutionary technology within the communications industry. The technology allows us to communicate from browser to browser-using video and audio for free. The technology is set to revolutionize not only the customers shopping experience but it also aids sales agents to upsell products.
GENBAND is a major force in terms of connectivity; from its base in Frisco, Texas, it delivers powerful solutions to over 700 customers across a span of 80 countries. Just recently, however, it found itself in need of a new solution itself, and one that it didn't actually have on hand at the time. This time, GENBAND turned to SAP for help in the form of the SAP Jam system, a system designed to help colleagues stay together in the same workflow, regardless of where said colleagues' physical location might be.

Famed software developer Ray Ozzie this week introduced a new WebRTC-based smartphone app called Talko aimed at making business communications easier and more collaborative.
How good is the WebRTC client you are using? Can it get better? There's an open-source-ish effort via the developers of Talky to collect data on how well WebRTC implementations do in terms of supported features on the WebRTC specification as well as the quality of experience, audio, and video delivered by Chrome and Firefox implementations.
