By eliminating the cost associated with IT infrastructure, businesses large and small are able to concentrate on their core applications and improve the product and services they offer to their customers. The financial industry has been slow in adopting cloud technology, but new and improved security protocols are changing all that. Ariel Communications, provider of individual software components and entire trading platforms for financial institutions, is making its iTrade platform a cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) solution. With this new service, iTrade will provide startups and small margin FX (FOReign Exchange) and CFD (contract for difference) brokers a more affordable solution. This is made possible by lowering its hardware footprint and introducing hosting as part of it solution with Software as a Service (SaaS). Small organizations and startups will now be able to leverage many of the features and functionality of iTrade and continue to use the platform as they grow because of the scalability it provides. The SaaS allows trade through chart packages, mobile capability, risk suite, regulatory compliance tools and liquidity provision with a competitive usage-based pricing model.
