Transition Networks Unveils S3280, Focuses on Timing Scalable Services

Just before the CommunicAsia 2012 show started up in earnest, Transition Networks brought out its new S3280, a device that was set to offer a new way of looking at scalable services, specifically, with an extra focus on timing.



The need for synchronization has always existed in wireless networks to prevent poor call quality and maximize network capacity. Poor synchronization affects handoffs between base stations, affecting the frequencies at which mobile handset calls are transmitted, causing clicks on the line or even dropped calls.



AccuCode, a retail network solutions provider, and Meraki, a cloud-managed networking provider, have announced a partnership to offer their clients solutions that combine both of the companies' product and service offerings. Meraki will offer an integrated feature set of cloud-based management solutions for client networks, while AccuCode makes these solutions available under one bundle for one monthly fee.



Security guard management companies often find difficulty in streamlining guard tour reporting effectively. Flowfinity Wireless, a company specializing in enterprise mobile apps for business process automation, is set to meet the demands of the security market with a compelling mobile solution.



ImageWare Systems, Inc., a provider of identification, biometric and digital imaging software solutions, acquired four U.S. patents related to wireless technology from a private company. Including these newly acquired patents, ImageWare Systems now holds nine patents with eight patent applications pending.



Grid Net has signed a strategic partnership with NetComm Wireless to deliver 3G cellular smart grid communications cards. As per terms of the agreement, NetComm Wireless will design, develop, and manufacture Grid Net-enabled 3G Cellular Communications Cards for smart grid devices globally.
