A top agent of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) resigned this morning, following the Republican outrage after he crossed the line in a speech delivered in Dish, Texas.
Dish is heavily engrossed in debate over the environmental consequences of “fracking,” and Dr. Al Armendariz, an agent representing the South Central Region, declared that Roman conquerors are an example of how he would go about solving this problem.
Romans would go to little villages in Turkey and “crucify the first five guys” they saw. “And then, ya know, that town was really easy to manage for the next five years …You make examples out of people who are, in this case, not complying with the law ... and you hit them as hard as you can," Almendariz claimed.
