New Research Outlines Coming Battles in Connected Home - IOT Evolution

Because of its consumer-facing prominence, the connected home market is arguably the most important sector of the IoT industry, at least for the present. New research from analysis firm Delta-ee indicates that there are four battles facing the future of the market.
Automated driving is going to be safer and more convenient for consumers, if the predictions are true, and that's great. The larger benefit of automated, connected vehicles will, it seems, come from driverless trucking lines. New intelligence from ABI Research seems to indicate that one way to leverage that will be a strategy known as platooning.
Round Solutions, an IoT engineering and service firm, launched its wireless PingPong IoT edge node platform for connecting field devices to the cloud. Round Solutions said that applications could range from cloud-connected oil tanks and intelligent waste bins to managing gateway systems for manufacturing robots.
