Security Appliance Market Shows Steady Growth in Q2


Factory revenue was up for the security appliance market in the second quarter of this year, according the IDC Worldwide Quarterly Security Appliance Tracker report just released, but unit shipments declined over the same period.

Worldwide factory revenue increased 6.1 percent year over year to $2.1 billion in the quarter, the report found. Shipments decreased 1.5 percent to 483,354 overall. Multi-function appliances continue to be a major factor in growth for the segment, according to IDC. Read More
