According to a recent report by the WSJ, Google are concerned with Samsung’s dominance with Android devices, and that Samsung will grow so big that they will be able to call the shots with Google.

| Dual Screen YotaPhone Appears At MWC 2013 (Video) Posted: 26 Feb 2013 06:57 AM PST Some our our readers will remember the dual screen YotaPhone that was announced last year, the device is being shown off at this weeks Mobile World Congress, and we get to have a quick look at the device in the video below. The dual screen YotaPhone features a display on each side, on the front of the device is an LCD display on the back is an E-Paper display, it certainly looks very interesting from the video.

| Apple Will Settle In App Purchase Lawsuit Posted: 26 Feb 2013 06:46 AM PST Apple has agreed to settle a lawsuit regarding applications for its iOS devices that were aimed at children, the apps came with in app purchases, and parents were less than pleased about having large iTunes bills for in app purchases for the apps. Apple has now agreed to settle the lawsuit, which could end costing them quite a bit, and they are offering to pay people a $5 iTunes credit to their account, and if the amount was more than $30 they will pay in cash.

Nokia is now offering its HERE Maps, HERE Drive and HERE Transit software for free to all Windows Phone 8 devices, and the software includes mapping, turn by turn navigation and transit information.

The McLaren P1 is capable of reaching 100 km/h (62 mph) in under three seconds, it can hit 200 km/h (124 mph) in under 7 seconds and 300 km/h )184 mph) in under 17 seconds.

| Nokia 105 Mobile Phone Announced, Will Retail For 15 Euros Posted: 26 Feb 2013 03:46 AM PST Nokia announced a number of new devices yesterday, one of those was the new Nokia 105 which is designed to be a low cost mobile phone that will retail for just 15 Euros before taxes. The Nokia 105 features a 1.45 inch 65k TFT display and comes with 8MB of built in storage, it comes with up to 35 days of standby time and up to 12.5 hours of talk time and supports dual band EGSM 900/1800.

| ZTE Grand Memo In Action (Video) Posted: 26 Feb 2013 03:34 AM PST The ZTE Grand Memo was officially unveiled at Mobile World Congress yesterday, and now the guys from The Verge have put together a hands on video of the new Grand Memo, which gives us a look at the handset and some of its features. The ZTE Grand Memo features a 5.7 inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, processing is provided by a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor clocked at 1.7 GHz.

| Verizon BlackBerry Z10 Appears At The FCC Posted: 26 Feb 2013 03:02 AM PST Blackberry recently launched their first BlackBerry 10 OS smartphone in Europe, the BlackBerry Z10, which is due to launch in the US shortly and now the Verizon BlackBerry Z10 has appeared at the FCC. Verizon have yet to announced exactly when the BlackBerry Z10 will be available on their network in the US, although we suspect we will get some sort of announcement from Verizon soon.

| Samsung Galaxy S4 To Feature Visa NFC Payments Posted: 26 Feb 2013 02:50 AM PST Samsung will announce their new Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone on the 14th of March at a Samsung Unpacked event in New York, and now Samsung and Visa have announced a new deal that will see future Samsung devices, like the Samsung Galaxy S4 come with NFC Visa mobile payments. Companies that plan to offer mobile payment services will be able to use the Visa Mobile Provisioning service with NFC enabled Samsung devices, and we presume the new Samsung Galaxy S4 will be one of the first devices to use Visa payments from Samsung.

| Sony Xperia Tablet Z To Launch Globally In Quarter 2 Posted: 26 Feb 2013 01:37 AM PST Yesterday we heard that the new Sony Xperia Tablet Z would launch in the UK in quarter 2, and now Sony has announced that their new Android tablet will launch globally in quarter 2. Sony have yet to give a specific date in quarter 2 for the launch of the Xperia Tablet Z, so we guess it will be available some time from April onwards, they also announced that they have started rolling out the Xperia Z smartphone worldwide.

| Huawei Ascend W1 Lands On O2 UK March 7th Posted: 26 Feb 2013 01:20 AM PST O2 recently announced that the new Huawei Ascend W1 Windows 8 smartphone would be available on their network in the UK some time in Match, and now we have a launch date for the device. The Huawei Ascend W1 will be available from O2 UK from the 7th of March, this is for the electric blue version of the handset,the pink version of the Ascend W1 will be available from the 18th of March.

| Samsung Says No To Firefox OS Smartphones Posted: 26 Feb 2013 01:11 AM PST Mozilla recently launched their new Firefox OS, and we have already heard from some manufacturers that they will be developing devices with this new mobile operating system. One company who has decided not to produce Firefox OS smartphones is Samsung, according to a Samsung executive who told Cnet that the company is not interested in producing smartphones using Firefox OS.
