| Intel Launches New 335 Series 240 GB SSD Posted: 30 Oct 2012 07:09 AM PDT Intel has announced the launch of the new SSD that it says is being aimed at the entry-level DIY user looking to replace a traditional hard drive. The SSD is available in 240 GB capacity alone and uses a 6Gb/s SATA connection. The drive is a traditional 2.5-inch form factor that is 9.5 mm thick.

| Roku System Update Adds New Video Search Functionality Posted: 30 Oct 2012 07:00 AM PDT Roku has announced a new software update for several of its video streaming devices that makes it easier to find the programs you want to watch. The software update is available for the Roku 2, Roku LT, and Roku HD players as well as the Streaming Stick. The update brings the devices to version 4.8 352x.

| Android 4.2 Photo Sphere Feature In Action (Video) Posted: 30 Oct 2012 06:50 AM PDT Google recently announced a range of new devices which include the new Google Nexus 4, Nexus 10 and the update Nexus 7 tablet, all of these devices come with a new version of Android which has a range of new features, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. One of the major new features in Android 4.2 Jelly Bean is called Photo Sphere, and it basically lets you use your devices camera to take photos in any direction and then merge the photos together to form a larger photo.

| Google Play Now Has More Than 700,000 Apps Posted: 30 Oct 2012 06:42 AM PDT It looks like Google may have reached a new milestone with their Google Play app store, according to a recent report by Bloomberg, there are now more than 700,000 apps in the Google Play Store. Of course this number has yet to be officially confirmed by Google, but if it is correct we can expect some sort of official announcement from Google over the next week or so.

The Nokia Lumia 920 comes with Windows Phone 8 and features a 4.5 inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels, processing is provided by a dual core Snapdragon S4 processor.

| Samsung To Launch 7 Inch Galaxy Note Device (Rumor) Posted: 30 Oct 2012 05:31 AM PDT Samsung recently launch their new 5.5 inch Galaxy Note II smartphone, they also have a 10.1 inch Galaxy Note in their line up and now it would appear that Samsung are working on a new Galaxy Note device which will feature a display of between 7 inches and 9 inches. The guys over at Sammobile have discovered a new Samsung Galaxy note device with the model number GT-N5100 which has just received DLNA certification, and it is rumored to come with a HD display and the same processor that is in the Samsung Galaxy S III.

The display on the Google Nexus 10 features Corning Gorilla Glass 2, and processing is provided by a dual core A15 processor and the device features a Mali T604 GPU.

Now some benchmarks from Geekbench, of the new iPad 4 have revealed that it features a dual core Apple A6 processor clocked at 1.4GHz, which is faster than the one used in Apple’s new iPhone 5.

| iOS Chief Scott Forstall To Leave Apple Posted: 30 Oct 2012 03:26 AM PDT Yesterday Apple announced that the head of their mobile OS, iOS, Scott Forstall is leaving the company, and is moving over to an advisory roll at the company, Forstall has been at Apple since Steve Jobs returned, and he previously worked at NeXT with Steve Jobs. There are rumors that one of the reasons that Forstall has been pushed out of Apple is to do with the recent release of iOS 6 and Apple’s new Maps software which came under a lot of criticism.
