- Microsoft has embraced working from home. Documents reviewed by Business Insider detailed the firm's new "flexible" policy that allows employees to pick their own schedules.
- Huawei is getting into chips. Sources told the FT the firm will counteract US sanctions and start out making outdated chip models, then ramp up to start making state-of-the-art ones.

- E-scooters are coming to New York City. The city plans to launch an e-scooter rental pilot program in March 2021.
- The Internet Archive is getting into fact-checking. The site is going to start adding fact-checks and context cards to screenshotted pages.
- Kanye West bought Kim Kardashian a hologram of her dead father. The hologram of Robert Kardashian said West was the "most genius man in the whole world."
