As smartphone screens continue to grow bigger in size, so do mobile video views. In fact, 34% of all videos watched online in 2014's Q4 were viewed on mobile. That's just one of the many valuable insights revealed in Ooyala's new Q4 2014 Video Index.

Based on the Video Index, mobile video plays rose sharply month to month. Between November and December there was a 15% increase in video plays alone.

There's also great news for PCs, which lead the way in video ad fill rates. Tablet users now spend 70% of their viewing time with videos longer than 10 minutes. This Video Index is also the first to include video advertising data from a sampling of Europe's top broadcasters.

Dive into Ooyala's Q4 2014 Video Index data today.
