| Wii U Price Cut Not Arriving Anytime Soon, Says Nintendo President Posted: 31 Jan 2013 05:22 AM PST Even after not so great sales and Nintendo lowering is forecast for Wii U sales. Satoru Iwata, Nintendo’s president has this week stated that their Wii U will not be receiving any price cuts anytime soon. Iwata made the statement at an investor briefing following yesterday’s Nintendo financial results announcement, explain that Nintendo’s “resolute stance” on selling the Wii U at a a marked down price is out of the question.

| EE Expands 4G To Nine More UK Towns Posted: 31 Jan 2013 05:11 AM PST EE has announced that it is expanding its 4G LTE network in the UK, and EE’s 4G is now available in nine more town in the UK, making it available in a total of 27 towns and cities around the UK. EE has now rolled out 4G to Chelmsford, Amersham, Bolton, Hemel Hempstead, Sunderland, Wolverhamptom, Stockport, Sunderland and Sutton Coldfield, and according to EE their 4G network now covers 45 percent of the UK population.

| RIM Changes Name To BlackBerry Posted: 31 Jan 2013 03:43 AM PST As well as announcing their new BlackBerry 10 OS, the BlackBerry Z10 and the BlackBerry Q10, RIM, also announced that they will no longer be know as RIM or Research in Motion, the company will now simply be called BlackBerry. BlackBerry are obviously hoping that the re-branding of the company along with the launch of BlackBerry 10 and their two new BlackBerry 10 smartphones will give the company a new start.

The delay has been caused by an issue with the Baldur’s Gate game handling and ship panel APK files, and no word has been given as to when the game will be launched on Android.

| HTC M7 Release Date Pegged For March 8th Posted: 31 Jan 2013 03:03 AM PST Yesterday we heard that HTC are holding a press event on the 19th of February, the week before Mobile World Congress, where they are expected to announced the new HTC M7, and now it looks like we may have a possible HTC M7 release date. According to HTCSource, HTC will start selling their new HTC M7 on the 8th of March, this is apparently the European release date for the HTC M7, as yet we do not have any information on the US release date.

| BlackBerry Z10 With 4G LTE Now Available On EE Posted: 31 Jan 2013 02:55 AM PST We heard earlier today that Vodafone are offering RIM’s new BlackBerry Z10 smartphone on their network in the UK, and now the UK’s first 4G LTE network, EE has announced that the device is available on their network. EE are offering the new BlackBerry Z10 for £49.99 when you sign up to a 24 month contract that will cost you £41 a month, they have also said that any devices ordered will be delivered in 10 days.

The Taiwanese company has been developing the design for sometime and the only visible components on the transparent smartphone are its board, memory chip and camera. The transparent smartphone is mainly constructed from glass, and is equipped with a touchscreen interface positioned in the centre of the device, which at the moment provides just simple functionality.
