Officially announced: Motorola Moto X Posted: 02 Aug 2013 10:14 AM PDT We already wrote about Motorola Moto X, and recently we saw few smartphones from Motorola, so after Motorola DROID MAXX, we're pleased to inform you that Moto X has been officially announced. It seems that rumors that we covered about Moto X turned out to be true, because this device comes with 4.7-inch AMOLED display that uses 720p resolution, and 10-megapixel "ClearPixel" back camera that can support 1080p video recording. Inside the device there's Motorola's X8 chipset that consists of 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro, Adreno 320 GPUs, and 2GB of RAM. There are also specialized processors designed to handle natural language processing and information. Additional features that Moto X supports are always on voice commands, the motion-sensitive Active Display, and the twisty camera activation gesture. Moto X runs on Android 4.2.2, but sadly, this device comes without microSD card slot, so you're limited to 16GB and 32GB of internal storage. Moto X sounds interesting, and we should see it available at end of August or at the beginning of September. As for the price, 16GB model is priced at $199 with a contract. [via TechCrunch]
